Il progetto segue le indicazioni per quanto riguarda la distribuzione interna, limitandosi a chiudere la porta della cucina e ad aprirla sul lato salotto, così da creare un'unica zona giorno e dare più luce alla cucina, ma mantenendo distinte le funzioni grazie al bancone della cucina che diviene elemento divisorio oltre che utile piano di lavoro e tavolo per pasti veloci. In cucina abbiamo posizionato anche il tavolo da pranzo che all'occorrenza può essere spostato in sala e allungato. Per quanto riguarda le finiture, abbiamo utilizzato il bianco per le pareti in modo da dare più luce possibile alla casa, mentre il pavimento è in laminato effetto rovere e dona calore agli ambienti, sostituito solo dal gres porcellanato effetto legno in bagno per una maggiore resistenza all'acqua. Gli arredi scelti sono contemporanei e lineari, e in ogni stanza ci sono elementi che donano un tocco di colore, come il giallo per la zona giorno, o l'azzurro delle piastrelle per il bagno. Gli infissi esterni ed interni sono in legno con finitura bianca e doppio vetro per un isolamento termico ottimale. Per l'impianto termico abbiamo mantenuto i radiatori per ridurre i costi, prevedendo una nuova caldaia a condensazione che limiti i consumi energetici.
The project followes the requests regarding the plan distribution, so the door to the kitchen is closed and a new opening is created between the kitchen and the living room, giving more light to the kitchen and creating an open space. A kitchen island divides the two areas and is also an useful worktop. The dining table is positioned in the kitchen but can be moved to the living room and extended. We chose white for the walls to give more light to the rooms, and laminated oak wood for the floors, apart from the bathroom where we used porcelain tiles, that are water resistant. The furniture we chose is modern and essential, with bright and colorful elements in each room,for example yellow for the kitchen and blue tiles for the bathroom. The doors and windows are made of wood with a white finish and double glazing for an optimal insulation. The heating system includes radiators and a new energy efficient boiler.
