The customer need is to organize the space of the living area optimally.
The project involves the identification of three distinct functional areas.
The KITCHEN is located in the current location, but the space is better defined. A septum divides the kitchen from the passage beside the stairs. On this wall, are placed the refrigerator, stove and cabinets that turn over on the adjacent wall. The sink remains on the wall communicating with the bath, to avoid the reconstruction of the installations. The island with the hood and the stove acts as a divider between the dining area and kitchen. A false ceiling with spotlights, identifies the space for the kitchen.
The DINING AREA is separated by a wall equipped, large 90 cm wide punctuated by septa, within which lie cupboards and shelves functional for both the dining area to the living room. The storage wall is gray with white body and colored wooden hatches. The door is inside this wall system, and the aperture is contained within the thickness of the same. The FIREPLACE is in the same position but becomes part of the wall unit. Above the fireplace, in the dining area is placed the TV, in the living room instead there’s the space for firewood. In front of the table there is a small desk with a chair that becomes a little support to work.
The LIVING ROOM is an intimate and welcoming space. The fireplace and the wood furnish space together with the wall equipped. Opposite the sofa, cabinet with TV complete the room's decor.

L’esigenza del cliente è quella di organizzare lo spazio della zona giorno in maniera ottimale.
Il progetto prevede l’individuazione di tre zone funzionali ben distinte.
La CUCINA resta collocata nella posizione attuale ma lo spazio viene meglio definito. Un setto divide la cucina dal passaggio accanto le scale. Su questo muro vengono posizionati il frigorifero, il forno e i pensili che rigirano sulla parete adiacente. Il lavello resta sulla parete comunicante con il bagno, per evitare il rifacimento degli impianti. L’isola con la cappa e i fornelli si pone come divisorio tra la zona pranzo e la cucina. Un controsoffitto in cartongesso con faretti, individua bene lo spazio destinato alla cucina.
La ZONA PRANZO è separata dal SALOTTO tramite una parete attrezzata larga 90 cm scandita da setti, all’interno dei quali si collocano armadiature e mensole funzionali sia per la zona pranzo che per il salotto. La parete attrezzata è grigia con il mobile bianco e gli sportellini color legno. La porta è ricavata all’interno di questa parete attrezzata, e l’apertura è contenuta all’interno dello spessore della stessa. Il CAMINO resta nella stessa posizione ma diventa parte integrante della parete attrezzata. Al di sopra del camino, nella zona pranzo si colloca la tv, nel salotto invece c’è lo spazio per la legna.
Di fronte al tavolo c’è una piccola scrivania con poltroncina che diventa un piccolo appoggio per lavorare.
Il SALOTTO risulta un ambiente intimo ed accogliente. Il camino e la legna arredano lo spazio assieme all’armadiatura della parete attrezzata. Di fronte al divano, il mobile con la tv completa l’arredamento della stanza.
