Ascoltando e rielaborando le richieste del Cliente è stata sviluppata una proposta semplice, funzionale ed esteticamente valida.
La canna fumaria al centro della stanza da problema iniziale, si è tramutato nel "perno" del progetto. E' stato infatti sfruttato lo spazio fra questa e la parete come scaffalatura/libreria, creando così una separazione fra zona notte e zona studio.
Appena entrati nella stanza troviamo infatti un letto ad una piazza e mezza con un lato appoggiato alla struttura del comodino/libreria che occupa tutta la lunghezza del letto. Tre lampade a sospensione diventano fonte di luce per questa zona della camera.
Oltre la canna fumaria si trova la scrivania. E' stata pensata come una struttura a "L" ancorata alla muratura del camino che, avvolgendolo, lo risalta e lo valorizza.
L'armadiatura presente ad oggi verrà conservata.
Le pareti in legno verranno sostituite da pannelli di cartongesso, facilmente installabili e senza necessità di manutenzione. Vista la volumetria della stanza si consigliano tonalità chiare e luminose. Il legno restante nel locale (soffitto e pavimento) dovrebbe essere carteggiato e schiarito al fine di armonizzarsi con lo stile scandinavo dell'arredamento.
Oltre al bianco/panna per conferire luce all'ambiente è stato pensato di utilizzare il grigio antracite per la canna fumaria in modo da "rimpicciolirla visivamente", ed il bordeaux per arredi e tessuti (essendo un colore "importante" rischia altrimenti di appesantire l'ambiente).
Nell'eventualità l'ambiente possa risultare poco luminoso sarà facilmente posizionabile una striscia LED (esempio http://goo.gl/YBY87R) nella parte alta della parete di destra.

Listening and reworking customer requirements we developed a simple, functional and aesthetically pleasing proposal.
The chimney in the middle of the room was a problem in the beginning, but it has turned into the "pivot" of the project. The space between this and the wall was used as shelving / library, creating a separation between sleeping and study areas.
Upon entering the room we find a single bed and a half placed by the structure of the bedside table / library that takes up the entire length of the bed. Three hanging lamps become a source of light for this area of the room.
Besides the chimney is the desk. It was designed as a "L" shape framework anchored to the wall of the chimney.
The wardrobe present today will be preserved.
The timber walls will be replaced by plasterboard panels, easily installable and without maintenance. Given the volume of the room, we recommend light and bright colors. The remaining wood in the room (ceiling and floor) should be sanded and cleared in order to harmonize with the Scandinavian-style furniture.
In addition to white / cream to give light to the environment has been considered using anthracite gray for the chimney in order to "make it smaller visually," and the bordeaux for furnishings and fabrics (being a "important" color it would burdening the environment).
In the event the environment can not be very bright will be easy to locate a LED strip (http://goo.gl/YBY87R example) in the upper part of the right wall.
