It has been a pleasure doing this attic project. The space is interesting and appealing, and designing a terrace was a real interior/exterior design challenge!
My main idea was to open the living area as much as posible towards a new terrace in a best possible way and to provide one unified living space. My idea was that in the warm days (I hope the most of the year in your case) you will use the appartment both outside and inside and that you will not be aware when crossing the border of this two... In that manner I provided a small "summer kitchen" outside, in the zone of the grill area and near the eating area. It can be used in summer but also a big (main) kitchen can serve the " terrace area" also for some bigger party dinners. Because of that I opened one more door to provide even more direct connection between the two kitchens. These new door also serve as a connection with a small laundry area hidden behind the paravan with sliding doors in wood board finish.
Main kitchen is organized with peninsula, that can serve as a breakfast area. The big dinning table can be moved just next to this peninsula in order to have more space in dinning area, if the ocassion requires this.
Sleeping area is pretty simple functionaly but very comfortable, spacious and very private. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom with shower, with entrances positioned in order that the privacy is always protected from unwanted views.
