The original conformation of the flat works very well for the Client's requirements: in this solution it was possible to create an entrance hall served by a cloakroom and a storage unit, and which opens onto a large and bright living area overlooked by the kitchen, which is divided by a double sliding glass door. The existing fireplace, once modernised in design, becomes one of the focal points of the room. The existing sofa was implemented with a new module to be added to the peninsula, to make a more delineated and intimate conversation area. A bookcase and storage unit, with a desk corner, encloses the external sliding door that leads to the sleeping area: here the space dedicated to the bedrooms has been divided equally between the three, and they are served by two bathrooms - one for the two small bedrooms, and one for the master bedroom. IMPORTANT: the new entrance to the sleeping area has been moved to avoid opening directly in front of the master bedroom, but the existing one can be used smaller, to avoid huge construction works on the bearing wall.
The lighting of the rooms has also been the subject of study, especially the 'structural' lighting, i.e. that which will be embedded in the false ceilings: blades of light highlight walls and decorations. As requested, lighting pieces already in the client's possession were reused, as per the attached detail drawing.
The attached clay renderings serve to better understand the space and the ceilings, without any suggestions on materials and fixtures.

La conformazione originale dell'appartamento funziona molto bene per le richieste della Committenza: in questa soluzione è stato possibile creare un ingresso servito da un guardaroba e un mobile-ripostiglio, e che apre su una zona giorno ampia e luminosa e su cui affaccia la cucina, divisa da una doppia porta vetrata scorrevole a scomparsa. Il caminetto esistente, una volta modernizzato nel design, diventa uno dei punti focali della sala. Il divano esistente è stato implementato con un nuovo modulo da aggiungere alla penisola, per rendere una zona conversazione più delineata e intima. Un mobile libreria e contenitore, con angolo scrivania, racchiude la porta scorrevole esterna che conduce alla zona notte: qui lo spazio dedicato alle camere da letto è stato diviso equamente tra le tre e sono servite da due bagni - uno di rappresentanza e per le due camerette, e uno per la matrimoniale. IMPORTANTE: il nuovo ingresso alla zona notte è stato spostato per evitare di aprirsi direttamente di fronte alla camera da letto principale, ma quello esistente può essere utilizzato, di certo rimpicciolito, per evitare lavori di costruzione importanti sul muro portante.
Anche l'illuminazione degli ambienti è stata oggetto di studio, specie quella "strutturale", ovvero quella che verrà incassata nei controsoffitti: lame di luce mettono in risalto pareti e decorazioni. Come da richiesta, sono stati riutilizzati i pezzi luce già in possesso della Committenza, come da disegno di dettaglio in allegato.
