The project divides in two macro spaces the villa in order to have a living area and a night area.
The living area is located towards the side of the entrance of the house and it’s imagined as a fluid space, always feasible in a circular way and composed of two big spaces, each of 24 square meters (a living room with a chimney, a sofa and a chaise longue; a dining room with a big table) where, in between, there are an entrance space, a small kitchen, a storage area and a stair case (imagined with a longitudinal pattern, made of a masonry and with a big cupboard of wood underneath).
A big library along the whole wall, connects the 2 living areas and, on the other hand, divides these spaces from the bedrooms.
The night area, located towards the garden on the back of the house, foresees two big bedrooms each of 17.5 square meters and provided with wardrobes that open up on two “appendixes” of the rooms. These spaces look out into the garden and are studies in relation to the needs of each user:
-the parents bedroom is connected to the bathroom, which features an old style and designer tub, a surface with two sinks, a mirror and the sanitary area which is separated;
-the child’s bedroom, with a private toilet, is connected with a small study area that also looks out to the outside space.
Between the bedrooms, always reachable thought out the access from the library wall, it has been inserted a guest bathroom and a laundry room.
Upstairs it has been designed a room (for guests) with an adjoining hobby room and a bathroom.
Structurally, it has been respected the design of the double-bearing wall (both the outer and inner ones) opening some gates that are not too big and also opening in places where there are already existing entrances.
The character of the home is intended to be modern vintage where elements of high design coexist with more characteristics objects and retro objects. As for the furniture and the lights, more rich elements are alternated to more consumer ones with the believe that the right combination is capable of giving the fine and ending quality to the style of the house.
