The most important thing approaching this project was the tight budget and the general satisfaction with the existing functionality of space. In order to improve the living area I propose a translucent poly-carbonate room divider, which can completely open or close the kitchen area. On the other hand I thought that only one bathroom was not enough for apartment of this size and that the actual bathroom was too big anyway, so I tried to separate it in two, joining the bigger one to the principal bedroom, and the little one is accessed from the hallway and can be used by guests. The old storage room is converted to a wardrobe closet that belongs to master bedroom. The hallway is not only a "tunnel" to access the night zone, but a big storage space. The furniture is mainly chosen from the local store Semeraro which is affordable for a young couple.
