Dear client,
My intention with this design was to create modern home with functional organisation and unconventional atmosphere and I hope I have managed to do so.
This design proposes:
1. comfortable entrance zone with closet;
2. big living area that consists of open kitchen, dining area, living room and terrace as continuous space with unique visual identity. It is imagined to provide suficient space for all activities, separate cooking and eating from homework and leizure by creating bar enclosed with the kitchen, dining table that can be used occasionally and separate living room;
3. optimal night area that contains master bedroom, children's bedroom and big bathroom.
Preliminary intervention was to relocate second bathroom to blind corner of the kitchen. This way bathroom is enlarged to be comfortable, with big glass shower cabin, children got their own walk in closet and kitchen was completely defined as part of the living area. This intervention doesn't require significant changes since both kitchen and bathroom have pipes installed.
Brick wall is set as dominant carrier of the atmosphere in the living room. It leads from the entrance door to the terrace. Other elements are proposed as dark wooded or made of dark metal in combination with white furniture... to correspond with New York style, and the terrace is set to be glimpse of the nature. Significant detail is big bookshelf made of wood and carried by metal cables from the ceiling.
The entire design is created in correspondence with project brief and I hope you like it.
