Il progetto è stato elaborato seguendo le indicazioni del cliente, cercando di elaborare ogni informazione utile a soddisfare le richieste e le volontà espresse. La sfida principale è stata il riuscire ad ottenere gli spazi desiderati, senza stravolgere la conformazione attuale. Tale suddivisione prevede una zona "giorno" ben distinta da quella "notte", che è un principio di corretta progettazione. L’aggiunta di un ulteriore bagno rafforza ancora più il concetto di indipendenza delle due aree della casa.
La hall di ingresso rimane invariata rispetto alla situazione odierna, mentre la porta d’acesso alla zona giorno viene spostata per poter utilizzare al meglio lo spazio adiacente (soluzione migliorativa, ma non indispensabile). La riduzione del bagno permette di ottenere un ambiente unico cucina/sala da pranzo che, come richiesto, ricopre un ruolo rilevante all’interno della casa. La cucina è spaziosa, moderna ed espressione delle più recenti tendenze "urban"; la penisola integrata è il "non-tavolo" desiderato dai clienti, e può accogliere numerosi ospiti. Il soggiorno è, come oggi, adiacente la zona pranzo e rivolto verso sud-est; in base alle esigenze può formare uno spazio unico con il resto della zona giorno della casa, oppure essere chiuso da due portoni industriali ad anta scorrevole, ed utilizzato come stanza per gli ospiti (la scelta del divano letto è giustificata). Per mezzo di una piccola zona filtro (che può a sua volta essere chiusa da un’ulteriore porta) si accede alla zona notte: le due camere, e il bagno privato. La camera della bimba è sufficientemente grande per ospitare un secondo letto, qualora fosse necessario. La camera matrimoniale è organizzata in modo tale da non dover rinunciare nè alla praticità di una cabina armadio, nè ad un letto di 160x200 cm. La parete che attualmente divide soggiorno e camera viene spostata leggermente, in modo tale da ottenere una cabina armadio sufficientemente ampia (la finestra della camera è vincolante). Come richiesto dai clienti, la casa è dotata di dispensa e lavanderia. Quest’ultima può avere accesso indipendente, se necessario, e può prendere luce dal bagno adiacente per mezzo di una finestratura in alto nella parete divisoria (stesso discorso può essere fatto per la cabina armadio). Entrambi i bagni sono dotati di bidet e box doccia.

The project was developed following the customers’ directions, trying to process all the relevant information to meet the demands and the expressed will. The main challenge has been being able to achieve the wanted spaces, without changing too much the actual conformation. This subdivision provides for a "day" area distinct from the "night" one, which is a principle of good design. The addition of a further bathroom reinforces even more the concept of independence of the two areas of the house.
The entrance hall has remained unchanged, except of the access door to the living area, which is shifted in order to use of the space adjacent to it (a good solution, but not essential). The reduction of the bathroom allows to obtain a single kitchen/dining room space, which, as required, plays a major role within the home. The kitchen is spacious, modern and expression of the latest "urban" trends; integrated peninsula is the "no-table" desired by customers, and it can accommodate many guests. The living room is, just like today, adjacent to the dining area and facing south-east side; as needed, it may form a unique space with the rest of the day area of the house, or it can be closed by two industrial doors with sliding doors and used as a guest room (the choice of the sofa bed is justified). Through a small filter area (which can be closed by an additional door) leads to the sleeping area: two bedrooms, and a private bathroom. The child’s bedroom is big enough to accommodate a second bed, if necessary. The master bedroom is organized to host a walk-in closet, and a 160x200 cm bed. The wall that currently divides the living room and the bedroom is slightly moved, so as to obtain a sufficiently large closet. As requested by customers, the house is equipped with a storage room and laundry room. The laundry can have independent access, if necessary, and it can take light from the adjacent bathroom through an opening at the top in the partition wall (the same operation can be done for the walk-in closet). Both bathrooms have a bidet and a shower box.
