HOUSE Catania | Italy The idea is
to create a house where the space can be quickly transform. The bedrooms and
study are located on the north side of the house, and the living room and the
kitchen in the south side, to make better use of sun light, between this two
areas the bathrooms, storage room and laundry are located, working as a filter
space. An sliding mobile wall systems is used to
divide the two areas, by pulling it the space will be close, by pushing it, it disappears behind the
wall, and automatically the living room
takes another shape using the study area also as a living room. The space is define by different sliding mobile wall systems that
divide the kitchen, living room and study, so the space can be traditional with
divided areas, or use as one big open space. The project provides the use of modern and simple materials, as wood and glass, and
light brown walls that make contrast with white doors, few
elements that compose a dynamic and functional space.
