In this layout design, you have all your space needs.
On the ground floor:
- Once you enter the house from the entrance, you are greeted with a center social space with big fireplace (180 x 60 cm). I recommend using the hanging flue so it won't block the visual into the kitchen so much and keep the whole area open.
- A spacious living room for big social gathering. In this space I designed a full-width window for perfect scenery from the living room. I also added a smaller fireplace in the living room for more warm feeling during social gathering.
- A big kitchen which also accommodate lots of people, 5 bar seating. The kitchen also opens to the dining table, which can held 10-12 people.
- A study / working room with double sliding door, so you can create open access to the living room.
- Bathroom area with one toilet-only for guest and one full bathroom. Both of these are placed after an anteroom.
- A small closet / ripostiglio, or you can use this space for pantry storage.
On the basement floor:
- A central family area to hangout. This space is also works as the corridor into each bedrooms.
- Master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom and big walk-in closet. The master bathroom has both bathtub and shower. and the walk in closet in total is 17,5 m1.
- Two bedrooms each with a bathroom inside. Each bedroom has wide enough wardrobe space.
- An laundry room beneath the staircase.
- Two storage space and one room for building utility. You can also use any of this room for wine cellar, or anything else you need.
Finally, in this layout plan I placed windows on each side of the building so every room can have comfortable sunlight and ventilation. You can modify the size of the windows based on your needs.
