COCONTEST - "My New House" - Architect David Sousa Architects: David Sousa Project Year: 2012 AIM:The intervention in this Apartment main premise was the partial restructuring of the existing space to create a new proposal for a more real, more fluid and, above all, more livable space and Quality improvement. The project presents a characteristic that is consistent with the Referencing architectural of modernism. The idea is to creates a strong relationship at all the open space area and to make also usable the balcony area in the façade. The design is generated by a subtle balance of tensions, as colours, materials, that makes the contrast composition of the inside elements completely balanced. The proposal involves the fusion of some of these different areas(living area,dinning area,studio area), in order to create a new domestic experience that is natural, more spontaneous and less formal. MATERIALS: Walls: White Brick; White painted and grey painted concrete image.
