The idea of the project is to have two zones in the apartment. One comprises the access and the service areas and the other one is an open space that can be used differently according to the people's living needs. So during the day the beds are hidden and the space can be used for other purposes and at night there can be one or two beds in separate areas so the layout provides privacy.
In the service area, there is a laundry zone that acts as a filter between the kitchen and the bathroom to give it some privacy.
The kitchen includes an extra worktop for breakfast and fast meals and can also be used as a cooking surface.
The separation between the two areas in the living room is provided through a modular furniture that has got a screen attached.
The area with the custom made wardrobe can become a study/reading area or a multimedia/cinema/audio room with a projector during the day, or if needed can also become a bedroom by unfolding the double bed hidden in it.
In the bigger area, used for relaxing and dining, I have decided to turn the window into a door so it allows for more sunlight.
