My goal was to design the house according to the information you provided and also according to my vision of what a modern detached residential building should look like. You will notice that the approach here was different from the references you provided us with. The conceptual solution is a simple minimalist object of enigmatic form and on the other hand a very clean and functional organization of space. Your answer to one of the questions you were asked during the competition "to make the object mesmerizing for the one who sees it" gave me the freedom to set up the object in this way, essentially simple and yet "twisted", modern, refined. The longitudinal proportion of the lot, the relationship of the lot with neighboring roads, the wider ambiance and orientation influenced the base of the building to have a longitudinal shape with a sloping side on the ground floor, and sloping sides as details.
Accompanying facilities are integrated into the shape of the house, such as the entrance sequence, parking spaces and an open terrace. All the listed functions of the whole or one part are located in the protruding "triangular part" of the object. That is an unusual part of this project. To solve several functions with simple yet interesting moves, bring them into a functional relationship and at the same time create a minimalist designed object. The rooms are grouped by affinity. At the entrance on the right as a separate unit are the gym, sauna with shower, a toilet is at the bottom of the hallway. On the back of the gym there is storage suitable for the needs of the gym and other rooms. Near that unit are stairs leading to the first floor, isolated from the living rooms. The living room and kitchen function as one. Two thirds of this space has a double height. The living room as well as the bedrooms have a unique orientation to the east, with large fixed and sliding portals. A fireplace is provided in the living room. On the first floor are four bedrooms with double beds and bathrooms. One of these rooms is much larger and it is the master bedroom. A laundry room is planned on the first floor. All rooms have direct access to a large east-facing terrace. The east side stands out with grandiose glass portals, a form that is functionally oriented to the east, it is noticeable from the neighboring roads.
