when we were confronted with your project we were delighted to design a cozy and comfortable house in which you can feel the warmth of love and happiness. we were aware that by designing your house our mission was to create a background for your day-to-day activities and happenings. as we were observing your picture we came to realize that so many spaces to gather and hide things are required also we decided that we are not going to design a perfect space that remains nothing else to be added. therefore we left some spaces blank enough to be completed by your own touch and desire.
Also, the main concept for your beloved house was inspired by the Japanese Wabi-Sabi style which is a symbol of imperfection. textured walls, natural materials, warm colors, and cherishing natural light.
we provided you with two alternatives.
the first one is our favorite one which needs more modifications in the planning but brings your daily activities more delightful qualities. for instance, the master bedroom is accompanied by a walking closet which takes place along the noisiest wall. having the companionship of an acoustic wall in this closet helps reduce the sound as much as possible while keeping the clutter out of sight.
in the first alternative, your boy's room is favored with some stairs to reach the bed which dedicates the space beneath as a hidden storage and closet while enabling the boys to play games while they are seated in the chairs or laid on the bed by just rotating the monitor.
in both alternatives, the walls of the kitchen and the living room are demolished to help us create a bigger living space. the left side of the plan is dedicated to the office which is divided by a glass door enabling us to add this space to the living room by just opening the door while creating semi-private criteria to enjoy the view of the garden while working on the photographs. there are shelves and hidden closets to enable you to have your things in place. this space also has the potential to be added to the patio as an in-between space which creates a continuity between interior and exterior to help you enjoy having your cup of coffee while staring at the snow in the winter and enjoying sunlight along site the pool in the summer.
Also, the kitchen is working properly with the living you which enables you to enjoy your meal while watching a football match together.
in both alternatives, a laundry is designed in which there are shelves to have your clothing in. alongside the laundry we have replaced the fireplace which will serve the both studio and the living room with its warmth and light.
The landscape is designed as a gathering space where you can bring your chairs and enjoy the breeze or seat in the outside jacuzzi feeling the warmth of the water and the cooling of the air as your sipping your drink.
it is worth mentioning that due to the fact that we didn't have the current wiring and the sanitation placement plans it was kind of impossible to give you the exact wiring and sanitation plans. so in case, you were interested in the design by being provided with further information we guarantee to hand you any required detailing and planning alongside your journey to give these images lives.
