In accordo con le richieste del Cliente, il piano superiore – l'unico oggetto della presente progettazione – è stato suddiviso in due macroaree consistenti nella zona giorno e nella camera da letto padronale con relativo bagno. Il piano inferiore non è stato oggetto di elaborazione se non per il percorso di collegamento tra i due livelli garantito dalla scala esterna esistente. L'accesso a questa avverrà dalla zona giorno e la scala stessa sarà inglobata in una struttura vetrata e coperta da lamelle in legno, che proseguono anche a delimitare il parapetto del terrazzo.
L'ingresso è stato spostato dalla posizione originaria per facilitare l'immissione diretta nella zona giorno, pur passando da una sorta di filtro ritmata da feritorie verticali, che analogamente si aprono verso l'esterno. La superficie dedicata al living ha un'ampia metratura che consente di ospitare un locale multifunzione: ingresso, soggiorno con zona conversazione, pranzo, cucina e piccolo angolo lettura. La presenza di una canna fumaria è stata sfruttata per posizionare un moderno camino sospeso, a beneficio di tutta la zona giorno. L'area conversazione trova posto davanti al camino e davanti alla parete attrezzata che ospita la TV. La cucina si sviluppa linearmente con l'area dei fuochi e le colonne; opposta ad essa il grande bancone con lavello e bancone snack. L'inglobamento del terrazzino ha permesso di creare un piccolo angolo lettura, con poltrona sospesa e libreria passante che mette l'area in comunicazione visiva con il soggiorno. Una carta da parati fotografica ricopre la parete ad L e nasconde sia la porta verso la zona notte che le ante dell'armadio a scomparsa che ospitano un guardaroba per i visitatori.
La zona notte è filtrata da una zona di servizio dove sono collocati il piccolo bagno per gli ospiti e la lavanderia. L'ingresso alla zona notte avviene dall'ampia cabina guardaroba, che comunica visivamente con la camera padronale.
Per accrescere l'apporto di luce e aria, le finestre del bagno e della camera sono state trasformate in porte finestre: demolendo unicamente il parapetto ma mantenendo invariati i voltini superiori, è stato così possibile raggiungere il risultato contenendo i costi e mantenendo uniformità nella facciata.
La camera padronale ospita un letto in legno opportunamente modificato, così che la parte della testiera poggi direttamente su una pedana soprelavata di circa 30 cm. rispetto al pavimento. Questa pedana ospita a fianco del letto una piccola zona studio che confina anche visivamente con la cabina armadio, grazie ad uno schermo vedo - non vedo in vetro e lamelle di legno. Alle spalle del letto, un analogo schermo, divide la camera dalla zona benessere del bagno padronale. La pedana funge anche da comodino e da contenitore, poiché nell'alzata sono state ricavati spazi cassettonati.
Il bagno padronale ha areazione naturale ed è diviso in due aree. Una ospita i sanitari ed il doppio lavello. La seconda è in posizione soprelevata ed in comunicazione visiva con la camera da letto grazie ad uno schermo vedo - non vedo in vetro e lamelle di legno: trovano qui spazio la vasca da bagno freestanding e l'ampia doccia aperta. Per le finiture di quest'area si è optato per una resina semilucida grigio perla, a cui si contrappone la carta da parati waterproof a tema floreale che ricopre la parete della doccia.

According to Customer's requests, the upper floor - the only object of this design - was divided into two macroarees consisting of the living area and the master bedroom with its own bathroom. The lower floor has not been processed, except the connection between the two levels provided by the existing outdoor stairway. The Access to the stairway is from the living area through a staircase thath will be encased in a glazed structure covered by wooden blades, which continue to delimit the parapet of the terrace.
The entrance has been shifted from the original position to facilitate direct entry into the living area, by passing a sort of filter area giving rythm by vertical loopholes, which also open outwards.
The living area is a large living space where canstand a multifunctional room: entrance, living room with conversation area, dining, kitchen and small reading corner. The presence of a chimney was used to place a modern suspended fireplace for the benefit of the entire living area. The conversation area is located in front of the fireplace and in front of the furnished wall that houses the TV. The kitchen develops linearly with the area of ​​fire and columns; Opposite to it the large counter with sink and snack bar. The enclosure of the balcony allowed to create a small reading corner, with suspended armchair and passageway bookshelf that puts the area in visual communication with the living room. A photographic wallpaper covers the L wall and hides both the door to the sleeping area and the retractable cupboard doors that house a cloakroom for visitors.
The sleeping area is filtered from a service area where there is a small guest bathroom and laundry room. The entrance to the sleeping area is from the large wardrobe, which communicates visually with the master bedroom. To increase the supply of light and air, the windows of the bathroom and the bedroom were transformed into windows doors: demolishing only the parapet but maintaining the upper vents unchanged, it was thus possible to achieve the result by keeping the costs and maintaining uniformity in the facade. The master bedroom has an appropriately modified wooden bed, so that the part of the headboard is placed directly on a raised platform of about 30 cm. to the floor. This pedestal houses a small study area next to the bed, which also confines visually to the closet, thanks to a sheer screen made of glass and verrical wood blades. Behind the bed, a similar screen divides the room from the master bath's wellness area.
The pedestal also functions as a bedside table and a storage box, since the cladding has been obtained.
Master bathroom has natural air intaken and is divided into two areas. The first one housts the sanitary facilities and the double sink. The second is in a upper position and in visual communication with the bedroom thanks to a sheer wall made of glass and vertical wood blades: here are placed a freestanding bath tub and a large open walk -in shower.
