Il progetto scaturisce dall’esigenza del committente di rimodulare l’attuale unità abitativa al fine di ottenere una diversa ed ottimale distribuzione degli spazi interni con la contestuale creazione di nuovi. L’ipotesi progettuale prevede quindi la realizzazione di due macro aree ben distinte: la zona giorno e la zona notte. La zona giorno è caratterizzata da un unico grande ambiente adibito a cucina e soggiorno, quest’ultimo, costituito anche dall’ingresso in cui è stata realizzata una cabina guardaroba. L’open-space è caratterizzato da una grande libreria a parete che giunge fino all’area destinata alla preparazione delle pietanze, trasformando, di fatto, il passaggio alla zona notte e servizi in un portale. La penisola, composta da un tavolo slegato dalla struttura della cucina, funge ,idealmente, da elemento separatorio tra i due ambienti (soggiorno - cucina). La zona notte è costituita da un camera da letto singola, da un servizio igienico dotato di vasca e da una camera da letto doppia con cabina armadio, lei-lui, e servizio igienico di pertinenza.

The project born from the client's need to remodel the house in order to obtain a different and optimal distribution of the interior spaces with the simultaneous creation of new ones. The design therefore envisages the creation of two distinct macro areas: the day area and the night area. The day area is characterized by a single large room used as a kitchen and living room, the latter, also consisting of the entrance in which a wardrobe was created. The open-space is characterized by a large wall bookcase that reaches the area for the preparation of dishes, turning in fact into a portal the passage to the sleeping area and services. The peninsula, composed of a table separeted from the kitchen structure, ideally serves as a separating element between the two areas (living - kitchen). The sleeping area consists of a single bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub and a double bedroom with a cabinet, man-woman, and a bathroom.
