Descrizione Progetto

In the design of this project with a limited floor area, the main focus has been on addressing your specific needs—particularly the functional separation of "day and night zones," enhancing the quality of the bathroom, and creating a modern living environment.
Three alternatives have been developed for this project, each offering an optimized combination of functionality, aesthetics, and practical feasibility.
The overall design approach is based on balancing functional separation with spatial fluidity, allowing the user to enjoy clearly defined zones while benefiting from the simplicity and comfort of an open layout.
The following is a detailed explanation of the three proposed alternatives:
In Alternative 1, the spatial layout is more open, allowing for a smoother circulation flow throughout the apartment.
The bedroom is spacious and benefits from direct natural light. A large wardrobe is placed along the eastern wall, and by incorporating another wardrobe on the western side, the previously unused area is efficiently utilized.
The entrance is clearly separated from the living area, providing a defined sense of arrival. A shoe cabinet is placed directly opposite the entrance door, along with an additional storage closet beside the door.
The living room is adjacent to the kitchen, yet it remains visually distinct. The furniture is arranged lengthwise, maximizing space. A custom-designed cabinet between the column and the wall helps utilize the space efficiently while visually concealing the column protrusion.
The kitchen is functional and slightly larger than that in Alternative 2. A counter serves as a two-person dining table and marks the boundary between the kitchen and the living area.
The bathroom is slightly smaller than in Alternative 2 but still accommodates an in-unit washing machine. A double-sided shelving unit separates the laundry zone from the shower area—one side provides storage for cleaning supplies, while the other side serves as a shower shelf for items like shampoo and soap.

In the second alternative, the principle of separating the day and night zones has been applied with the greatest clarity.
The bedroom is located on the north side and has been designed to be independent and relaxing. A large wardrobe is placed along its eastern wall, and there's also a designated spot for a vanity, dressing table, or a small desk. The entrance to the bedroom is positioned in a way that ensures a high level of privacy for the sleeping area.
The living room is separate from the kitchen and placed at the heart of the layout. Positioned in a recessed area at the center of the plan, it evokes a sense of privacy and coziness, while still maintaining visual connection with both the kitchen and the entrance. A potential location for a TV has been marked on the wall behind the bathroom and kitchen, in case needed.
A small but highly functional storage space has been cleverly integrated next to the living area, optimizing what might otherwise be an unused corner. It can serve as a utility area, seasonal storage, or space for cleaning supplies.
The kitchen is nearly enclosed and compact, located in the southwest corner of the layout. Despite its limited size, it is designed efficiently. Depending on your layout preferences and fridge size, the refrigerator can be aligned with the cabinetry or placed next to the two-person dining table.
The bathroom, although compact, includes a shower, bidet, sink, toilet, and space for a washing machine along with storage shelving.
This alternative also features a clearly defined entrance area, including a coat closet and shoe storage.

Alternative 3 aims to create an open and contemporary space, with a stronger emphasis on the integration of the living area and kitchen.
The living room is the largest among the three options and has been designed to be completely open and filled with natural light.
The kitchen is smaller in size but laid out in a simple, linear arrangement along the wall. The electric cooktop is placed in the more enclosed part of the kitchen to help minimize cooking odors in the living area. Despite being smaller, this kitchen includes more cabinetry compared to the other two alternatives.
The bedroom is located at the center of the layout, accessed directly from the entrance. It remains independent but is more compact, with a smaller wardrobe than the previous options.
The bathroom is spacious and complete, with a wider layout than the original. The washing machine is efficiently integrated into the space, separated from the main shower area by a shelving unit. Another open shelf has been placed near the shower for convenient access to toiletries.
The entrance is clearly defined and functionally optimized, featuring two storage closets — one before the bathroom and the other near the kitchen — offering ample and efficient storage solutions.

Depending on your personal taste, you can choose any of the proposed alternatives. Please note that the TV and its stand are represented in the living room as a narrow rectangle within a larger rectangle. Similarly, in other areas of the plan, each rectangle represents an element such as a wardrobe, shelf, table, piece of furniture, or kitchen cabinet.
I hope these designs successfully address your needs and meet your expectations.
