GUIDELINES: preserving position and shape of the structure, reinforcing it in some spots, working on shell & interiors style. More opening and natural light, a light well for the darkest areas, service spaces and stairs next to the blind wall (border with the other house), and main living spaces positioned along the walls next to the garden.
GROUND FLOOR: double entrance (#1: cars + pedestrians, #2: only pedestrians) through the garden area to the living spaces. A big open space for living, entertaining, hosting and dining, divided in two by an open bookcase, flanked by a home cinema system with a screen that disappears into the false ceiling. Into a semi-closed masonry cube, there is the dry kitchen/bakery area/coffee corner, where to prepare and enjoy bread, focaccia and a good coffee, while the wet kitchen is separate, and positioned towards the internal courtyard, equipped with large windows and access to the external loggia.
Next to the border wall, aligned with the stairs, the bathroom/laundry room, that receives natural light through a light well open on the roof.
The existing car porch will be remodeled and slightly enlarged, in order to give space to the kitchen’s loggia, and covered by a walkable terrace.
FIRST FLOOR: flanked by the large terrace covering the parking/loggia area, two large bedrooms ready for the growing child (and the future siblings) plus any eventual guests, a SPA bathroom with whirlpool & shower, a small bathroom, a large wardrobe and an indoor/outdoor fitness/relax area that opens into a large second terrace.
SECOND FLOOR: here we create the private realm for the owners, with a minimal master bedroom (with its own lounge terrace), a private bathroom with Jacuzzi and a SPA room with sauna+shower, a large wardrobe and a private studio/entertainment room, plus terraces and relax outdoor areas.
GARDEN: large green spaces, a light/delicate green design is enough to have a minimal, elegant and cozy outdoor space, surrounded by trees and palms, and protected from view from the public road thanks to a simple system of wooden barriers with climbing plants. A nice water feature completes the outdoor design.
