It was an absolute pleasure to work on your very interesting and specific project. I tried to complete a project for you that is as close as it can be to your references and in doing so maintain all of your needs and requirements especially the spatial and the height requirements.
- The bathroom and the kitchen are positioned so that there is minimal work in placing the new water and sewage installations and so that the required height for the bathroom doesn’t pose a problem.
- The bathroom is made so that you can place a shower or if you like there is enough space where the shower is placed to switch it for a bathtub.
- In the hallway, I decided to do storage together with a place for a washer and a dryer close to the bathroom for functional ease of living.
- The kitchen is a two-part kitchen and the two parts are a mirror image of each other, in the middle of these two parts is the dining table. One part of the kitchen is made to be an extension of the storage area like a functional wall. This part of the kitchen can be opened and closed as needed with sliding cabinet doors.
- The dining room is placed in the middle of the space with a small bar area in the living room part.
- The living room is a double-height space in the most light-filled part of the loft. The existing window is split in two for light and proportion. One window for the living room and one for the bedroom upstairs. In the window that is placed for the living area, I created a nook in which you and your guests can sit with a small library.
- In this space, I located the stairs that lead to the upstairs gallery, bedroom, and closet storage/working space. The stairs have a design that allows them to also be used as a functional library with tv space, and here I added if you like a biofuel fireplace which will bring warmth and comfort to the living experience.
- Upstairs I created a reading area on the gallery part of the second level for enjoying the view and a good book.
- Next comes the bedroom area with a functional library and tv cabinet on the opposite side of the bed.
- Next, we have a platform that is slightly elevated as per your suggestions also as it would be most logical to create the entrance and the bathroom, and in this area, I decided to put the closet storage but also a private working area.
