My proposal focuses on emphasizing rectangles and grid elements in the house. Mosaic tiles and coatings are included in the project to increase the presence of this grid, anyway, the shelf that already exists is the main element of the grid.
Regarding the project's distribution, the new living space has very few walls, only in the main entry and the existing load bearing walls. The cooking area is still far from the relaxing and living area (piano, tv...), but it belongs to the same space.
Outdoor proposal tries to repeat the platform or porch existing in the westside entry. A small canopy covers a dining table over a temporary wooden flooring.
