living area

I just moved to a duplex, and we are trying to decorate our living area, as I find it difficult to fit the dining in the same place.We just bought all the furniture you see in the images, so I am not thinking of removing anything , maybe the carpet and the coffee table , yes I need to change them. I might add stuff and rearrange , this is what I am looking for, consultation to make the place more in-sync . I tried to imitate Hotel Portrait in florence as I loved it so much when I stayed there. (google it for images) Now Im always wondering, what is missing from the dining? FYI it is placed where it is now to be closer to the kitchen. The black sofa , where should I put it? What accessories should I add to make the place more alive, with all this grey I think its so dull. what shall the carpet size be under this 3 meter grey sofa? can I add pendant lighting? the other thing I live in Kuwait , is there websites that I could order from and can get me stuff with affordable shipping cost?
