My concept and design goals were to make the smoothest circulation in and out the apartment and maximize storage as well. When you come in you have a bench to change/take off your shoes. Right next to it is a tall cabinet for coats and would be very useful when there is guests come over. The kitchen kept the same plumbing for a sink, dishwasher. The cook top stayed on the same wall, the built in fridge and freezer, washing machine would be installed on the next wall. All the walls has low storage for books, decor and could be used for essentials as well. The living room layout is very flexible to allow furniture positioning either way. The new shower can serve as a mudroom as well as being the second bedroom's shower. The master bedroom is in the corner with an en-suite bathroom that has all the requested appliances.
