OUR HOUSE / ROMA
The floor plan is divided into two zones, the private zone and the social zone, divided with a distribution hall that works as a library and uses books' shelft as a view divisor between both areas. The protagonist at the entrance is the social zone.
The access Hall provides a space to leave shoes, heavy cloth or umbrellas for guest. The first impression in the entrance moment at the house is to see a free floor plan of dinning room and living room with full natural illumination from windows. The kitchen is placed near the entrance to provide easy access for supermarket products. The access to social zone is evident for guest and the private zone stays as a mystery to them. The living room is placed near balcony to use natural light and wind. The feel in the living room is like being outside. Also, there is a guest bathroom that is behind a wall in order to give the appearance that is hidden.
For owners of the place there is an easy access to private zone turning at right from the access hall. The first zone is a distribution area that leads to every room of the house. The private living room is made for the family to enjoy movies or to have small talk in case they do not need to be in touch with outside but want a zone for having fun outside of their room. In the back zone is placed the laundry room with space for keeping some random stuff as cleaning elements.
There are three bedrooms, two are equals for the brothers and one master bedroom for the wife and husband. The ones for the brothers are provided with a comfortable size bed with wardrobe above and with a desk for private study. Both bedrooms are connected with a private shared bathroom with a door for each and is only accessible by their room.
The master bedroom is provided with a big wardrobe, a private bathroom and a sofa that is perfect for relax with a book in the winter near the window.
