Il nuovo assetto progettuale non stravolge la pianta esistente, ma la razionalizza nel rispetto dei vincoli progettuali. In particolare, questi riguardano la posizione degli scarichi dei bagni - che si è appunto deciso di non spostare, la posizione delle finestre e le richieste della committenza. In particolare, per le camere, si è provveduto (non senza fatica) a far sì che entrambe avessero le dimensioni minime previste dalla normativa, vale a dire una superficie di almeno 14 mq. Comprensivi dell'eventuale cabina armadio.
La zona giorno è stata ampliata grazie alla parziale chiusura del terrazzo: si ha così un'ampia zona giorno, aperta ma ben funzionalizzata. La cucina ha un controsoffitto ribassato che, oltre a definirne meglio l'ambito, permette di posizionare elementi tecnici come i tubi di aspirazione della cappa e l'illuminazione incassata. La cucina è organizzata come una grande isola con lavandino e piano cottura, abbinata ad un pratico bancone snack; alle sue spalle si trova invece una parete attrezzata con le colonne. A ridosso della cucina è stato ricavato un piccolo ma fondamentale spazio chiuso che, se ben organizzato, funge da utile ripostiglio e lavanderia. Questo locale e la cucina sono stati deliberatamente posizonati vicino al bagno esistente, per limitare al minimo le problematiche legate agli scarichi. Il living è di forma rettangolare e termina con un luminoso finestrone, vicino al quale è stata ubicata la zona conversazione/TV. In questo layout, il tavolo ha forma rotonda per ridimensionare le dimensioni della stanza. La lunga parete alle spalle del divano può essere decorata con una carta da parati a stampa fotografica, diventando un quadro che contribuisce ad arredare e a riequilibrare i volumi del living. La zona notte è ben separata dalla zona giorno ed è filtrata da un disimpegno. Questo conduce al bagno (di servizio alla seconda camera da letto e alla zona giorno), ad una camera matrimoniale dotata di ampia cabina armadio e alla camera padronale. Quest'ultima è concepita come una en- suite. Il letto è addossato ad un setto, che funge anche da comodino essendo dotato di un mensolone; il setto cela alle sue spalle la cabina armadio. Il bagno padronale comunica direttamente con la camera e, a sottolineare questo rapporto visivo, è stato progettato un inserto in vetro che permette alla vasca da bagno di design di essere visibile dalla camera stessa.

In particular, for the rooms, steps were taken (not without difficulty) to ensure that both had the minimum dimensions required by the regulations, ie an area of ​​at least 14 square meters. Including any walk-in closet. The living area has been extended thanks to the partial closure of the terrace: so there is a large living area, open but well functionalized. The kitchen has a lowered false ceiling which, in addition to better defining the scope, allows the positioning of technical elements such as the hood suction pipes and recessed lighting. The kitchen is organized like a large island with sink and hob, combined with a practical snack counter; behind it is instead a wall equipped with columns. A small but fundamental enclosed space has been created behind the kitchen which, if well organized, serves as a useful storage and laundry room. This place and the kitchen were deliberately placed near the existing bathroom, to minimize the problems related to drains. The living room is rectangular in shape and ends with a bright window, near which the conversation / TV area has been located. In this layout, the table has a round shape to resize the dimensions of the room. The long wall behind the sofa can be decorated with a photographic print wallpaper, becoming a picture that contributes to furnish and rebalance the volumes of the living room. The sleeping area is well separated from the living area and is filtered by a hallway. This leads to the bathroom (serving the second bedroom and the living area), a double bedroom with a large walk-in closet and the master bedroom. The latter is designed as an en-suite. The bed is leaning against a septum, which also serves as a bedside table being equipped with a big shelf; the septum conceals the walk-in closet behind it. The master bathroom communicates directly with the room and, to emphasize this visual relationship, a glass insert has been designed that allows the design bathtub to be visible from the room itself
