This is my proposal for "B&W’s fabulous home and terrace" which concept I would like to explain:
MAIN APARTMENT:
The living area is located on the south side of the apartment and the sleeping area on the north side. Since the staircase is located in the center of the apartment, I was looking for a way to not interrupt the walk through the apartment, as well as to use the existing location of the sewer pipes and chimney (for kitchen- both main apartment and roof apartment).
-In the entrance there is a big closet in wood and bench. I wanted to add some natural light to this area so I've add glass all around the "pozzo luce". On the other side, towards the living room, there are display cases (in glass)
-Next to the entrance there is living/dinning area (with dinning table up to 12 people), sitting area for 7 (8) people with bio fireplace (if possible-if not I would add in that corner "reading spot" with armchair and floor lamp.
-On the right there is a kitchen with island with 4 spots and pantry. Next to the pantry there is laundry. I wanted to make "service" area (with pantry and laundry) between kitchen and sleeping area, but close to master bedroom. And also I wanted kitchen to be close to master bedroom. There are 3 options of space volumes depending on your need (what space do you want to be bigger/smaller)
-Master bedroom contain: sleeping area with tv and make-up (lady spot), big walk-in closet and bathroom. There are 3 options (in floorplan). My goal was to connect all 3 spaces, but bathroom to be separated and door not to be seen from bedroom. So there is little corridor in front of bathroom with chest with lamp.
-Next to master bedroom bathroom there are 2 bedrooms with small but functional walk-in closets.
-If baby 3 comes, in bedroom2 without walk-in closet there is enough space for 2 beds (shared bedroom).
-Between bedrooms1,2 and living area there is another "service"-corridor with bathroom for B1,2 and guest bathroom. There is a door between that corridor and living area, since according to Italian law there must be one more door/space/ante-room between kitchen and bathroom. There is also plaster white shelf with led light.
ROOF APARTMENT:
In the roof apartment there is a kitchen (close to chimney), closet, dinning/living area, small bathroom (above main apartment bathrooms, so it can be connected to same sewer pipes and also with ante-room, since kitchen/living area is open space), and BBQ which is outside the apartment, close to kitchen and dinning table. Living/dinning are can be fully open with sliding doors. there is also a bench (one close to BBQ and second one close to living area) which I find interesting for big parties.
