First of all I want to thank you for the opportunity to work in this project and hope you like it!.
All the design was thought to create a cozy and familiar space and keep the original design of the house, in my opinion it’s a real pleasure, the colors was chosen as requested, yellow and green, and as the entire space is connected now, some elements, like wall paint and flooring material, is used to separate the ambients. So you have an integrated social area, but still have the feeling of different spaces. As a suggestion I closed the door next to the kitchen, as you have another door to access the other rooms of the house, this way we can have more space to the storage, microwave and refrigerator.
The kitchen was designed large, so everyone can work, in every corner, at the same time. Big drawer in the island so you can put a large appliance on it, utilizing every space for storage. Light color was used, to have the sensation of enlarged space. really important because we are using every little piece of the room for storage, so we don’t have a claustrophobic environment.
For the espresso/tea area we have green color to create an cozy space and add counter seating to add the kitchen
