(More) PIZZA PLEASE is the second location of the pizzeria in Kingston and as the first location wants to be a cozy and familiar space for the customers where pizza is more than a food or a place just to eat. The new location of pizza please shows the importance of pizza culture from the elaboration to the satisfaction of the client with the product. For that reason the design includes a “pizza laboratory” where the pizzaiolos elaborates the last phase of pizza (creation and cook) and they can be seen by the customers across the glass in order to give to the client a sense of clean, high quality product and trust in the brand. The implemented materials recall the image of the first location, brick, wood, bright colors, the chalkboard for the menu. The decorations are traditional pizza and pasta cooking elements plus vintage B&W images of Italy (30’s-80’s), some vintage Italian advertising and some ceramic art with Mediterranean landscapes and Italian food culture in furtherance of the traditional, casual and refined dining experience in the shop.

The shop offers to the costumers the possibility to take away or to eat there seating on the bar table, in the dining tables or standing near to the pizza/food counter appreciating the pizzaiolos work. The long corridor takes to the costumer’s restroom, the kitchen entrance and the deposit and service restroom, a second entrance to the service area could be hiding down the counter top with a fake part wall near to the cashier.

The main idea of (more) PIZZA PLEASE is to be the perfect place to eat pizza in Kingston.
