we've been working on your Italian-Caribbean Pizza Shop design.
We suggest to you to keep it really simple and let the details create the atmosphere of your business. The ambient has a modern and minimal style but we also use natural materials since we noticed in the reference pictures that you love wood.
We know that our proposal it's risky but our design will help to give your business a professional and fresh look.
The first decision was to change the position of the toilets entrance. Nowadays you have the customers toilet entrance in a way that when you open the door, every person in the shop can see the interior of the toilet. If in your old proposal you need to use a wood wall to protect the visuals of the toilet is because this door is not in the right position. We have changed it to the other wall, the blackboard painted one, and also created an interior sliding partition into the customers toilet. So when you open this door, you can only see the sink, never the toilet.
About the shop distribution, changing the toilet door helps a lot to improve the space. The bench with the seating area can be now larger. We decided to change the position of the main counter in order to fit the changes we've done before and to let the food take all the protagonism of the shop. The main counter can be seen from every seat of the shop and also has a lot of space in front of it, so it's possible to have a lot of people asking for a pizza without problems.
The kitchen is an open-space that can be seen from the shop area. It has a little storage room and also the electric oven is placed near the existing flue. It also has a big preaparation desk.
We decided to keep one window really clean, the one that has the bar and the stools. The other two big windows (one in the shop and the other one in the kitchen) have some wood slats visual protection from the outside but we are not closing them or making them darker. Natural light it's really important in this kind of business and you are lucky to have a lot.
Also the ceiling and some of the walls are covered with wood slats to create this natural but modern atmosphere.
