Esterno - Giardino
Dear Client,
Thank you for the opportunity—it has truly been a pleasure designing your garden. I sincerely hope the proposed design not only meets your expectations but also aligns beautifully with your vision for the garden.
The core concept of the design centers on creating a seamless flow between the main garden area and the side garden. To achieve uninterrupted spatial continuity, the pergola/shed— which is of light construction —is positioned to the left upon entering the main garden —whether from the exterior or directly from the house. This placement ensures that the visual and physical connection between the two zones remains open and unobstructed.
Similarly, the olive tree is thoughtfully placed at the transitional corner between the main and side areas to further enhance this sense of cohesion and continuity while reinforcing unity and fluidity throughout the garden.
The flooring features a seamless resin finish with subtle color inlays, complemented by a central rectangular medallion in a warm wood tone. This combination introduces visual interest while maintaining harmony within the overall composition.
The olive tree is integrated into the seating area, set within a raised planter and finished in the same resin material and color as the flooring. This approach emphasizes material continuity while maintaining design consistency and aesthetic. By positioning the olive tree at the corner of the L-shaped seating arrangement, the olive tree naturally becomes the focal point within the space.
The seating area itself is thoughtfully oriented to provide views toward the green side garden, as well as forward toward the bar and dining area in the main area. Additionally, 500mm of the existing paving in the side area has been removed and reassigned to greenery. By thus, increasing the overall green surface and enhancing the sense of lushness. Vertical wooden slats are installed behind the seating to discreetly screen the existing external piping from the neighboring property while introducing warmth, rhythm, and texture to the design.
Should you have any suggestions, questions, or wish to request any adjustments, please do not hesitate to reach out. I would be delighted to discuss any refinements to ensure the final outcome fully aligns with your vision.
Warm Regards,
