For the design of your apartment plan, I have developed four alternative layout solutions. Each one is based on your specific needs, combined with technical considerations and the existing conditions of the space. Depending on your personal preference, you can choose the option that best fits your lifestyle.
Here is a short description of each alternative:
Alternative 1
Most spaces remain similar to the original layout. The second bedroom has been reduced in size and transformed into a studio, while the space gained from this adjustment has been used for a laundry room.
The kitchen features an island, which provides additional countertop surface and also functions as a dining table.
Alternative 2
In this solution, the overall arrangement of spaces is significantly different. Even the two bathrooms, which I tried to keep in place due to technical constraints, have been slightly adjusted in position or size.
The living area is placed at the upper part of the plan and directly connected to a wall-mounted kitchen. A dining table for two is positioned next to it.
The master bedroom includes a large walk-in closet (WIC) and a full bathroom.
The laundry room is located next to the second bathroom, with a sliding door to optimize space.
The balcony is accessible from the studio.
Alternative 3
This version proposes a different layout.
The studio is positioned at the upper part of the plan, next to a spacious laundry room.
The living area is connected to an L-shaped kitchen, with a two-seat dining table placed beside it.
The master bedroom features a walk-in closet (WIC) and a smaller bathroom, while the larger bathroom is located between the living room and the bedroom.
Alternative 4
Here, the living area, kitchen, master bedroom, and studio are arranged similarly to Alternative 1, with a small variation in the kitchen island design.
The master bedroom includes a larger walk-in closet (WIC).
The laundry room is placed next to the main bathroom, while the smaller bathroom is relocated. Please note that in case this solution is of interest to you, the feasibility of moving the smaller bathroom should be technically verified.
Common Features in All Proposals
• The distance between sofa and TV is at least 3 meters, as requested.
• The master bedroom is designed to be about 12 sqm, with a walk-in closet (WIC) and direct access to the larger bathroom.
• The studio of about 9 sqm includes a sofa-bed, desk, and shelves.
• Two bathrooms are provided: one complete bathroom accessible from the master bedroom, and a smaller one without bidet. Their positions remain almost the same in most alternatives, except in one alternative.
• In addition to the walk-in closet, a wardrobe for coats and shoes has been included near the entrance in all layouts.
• A dedicated laundry room has been designed to accommodate washing machine, cleaning tools, and storage.
