In this project, I tried to achieve an elegant and efficient bathroom design.

Layout:
The layout of the bathroom is designed with efficiency in mind. The sliding door is placed in the exterior wall to gain additional space inside the bathroom. While the water closet and bidet are placed according to the client’s idea, the wash basin is placed such that there is adequate space for circulation. There is wide shower area with glass separation. Shower area floor is lowered for a 2 cm, since this will avoid water spreading to the rest of the bathroom.

Colour Palette:
The bathroom uses a contrasting and neutral colour palette as seen in the reference images. Black granite tiles highlight the shower area. Rest of the floors and walls have white wood patterned tiles. Shelves and counter tops are designed with reflective white marble.

Lighting Design:
Since the bathroom doesn’t have any windows the lighting arrangement is designed to provide ample light. The six recessed lights on the ceiling can be used as needed from minimal lighting to bright lighting. The mirror unit is designed with strip lights around the mirror, this will improve the mirror usage and the overall ambience in the bathroom.
