The main priority for designing this project was to create a modern living area in the two storey attic, where the main attraction will be the staircase.
The U shaped staircase is designed around half of the existing wall.The stair is supported by the wall and connected to the ceiling with suspension wires, which increases the connectivity of the living area and also works as a railing for safety.The rectangular area under the stair is designed to have a green layer.This green green layer can also be altered by a layer of natural stones.
The large space with regular height is designed as a TV and entertainment zone as you required.The area near the fireplace is designed as a reading or relaxing zone with armchair and seating.The area in front of the kitchen is developed as a dining space.
The whole living is designed as a connected double height area.The stair with the half wall creates connection between the reading zone and the dining, enhancing the space quality of the two storey attic. Light colored walls and wooden stair creates a modern interior for the living room.
