Il progetto è stato pensato per intervenire il meno possibile e quindi contenere i costi, in modo da non dover ricostruire ciò che può essere riutilizzato della struttura esistente.
All'edificio è stato aggiunto un nuovo volume a nord dove è stata collocata la terza camera da letto e una parte del portico è stata chiusa con delle vetrate in modo da collegare in maniera organica le due strutture originali.
Gli spazi esterni sono stati riorganizzati tenendo conto dell'impianto originale: il portico è stato ripensato con due pilastri circolari in acciaio che alleggeriscono il prospetto donando più luce, inoltre, nel progetto si è tenuta in considerazione un'eventuale area per collocare la piscina, ed è stata riservata poi una zona per il parcheggio.
La copertura esistente è stata modificata, con la possibilità di riutilizzo dei materiali esistenti, conferendogli una forma dai caratteri orientali dove trova spazio l'impianto di illuminazione esterna (all'interno di profili in alluminio).
Le finiture esterne richiamano quelle esistenti in particolare gli scuri sono stati riorganizzati con apertura scorrevole.
Gli ambienti interni sono progettati su un nuovo asse di distribuzione vetrato che si affaccia verso il portico dando luce all'abitazione. La zona giorno è composta da un unico ambiente con zona living e cucina, mentre la camera principale è collocata nel nuovo volume e si affaccia su due lati con un'apertura verso il giardino nel lato nord.
Le altre due camere mantengono per lo più l'impianto originario, in una, come richiesto, è stata conferita maggiore autonomia dotandola di un bagno privato; entrambe le camere hanno poi una porta-finestra che da accesso al giardino.

The project is designed to intervene as little as possible and thus reduce costs, so you do not have to rebuild what can be reused the existing structure.
In the north part it has been added a new volume where was placed third bedroom and a portion of the portico was closed with the windows so organically connect the two original structures.
The outdoor areas were reorganized taking into account the original system: the portico has been redesigned with two circular steel columns that lighten the prospectus giving more light, also in the project was held to consider an area to place the pool, and then an area was reserved for parking. The existing roof has been changed, with the possibility of reuse of existing materials, giving it a form by oriental characters while it offers the external lighting installation (in aluminum profiles). The external finishes recall those existing in particular the dark have been reorganized with sliding opening. The interiors are designed on a new glazed distribution board that faces the portico giving light to the house. The living area consists of one room with the kitchen, while the master bedroom is located in the new volume and overlooks two sides with an opening towards the garden on the north side. The other two bedrooms retain mostly the original plan, in one, as required, it has been given more autonomy equipping a private bathroom; both rooms have also a door window that gives access to the garden.
