The main objective of the project is focused on highlighting the architecture of the building. It will be projected following the established program, preserving the configuration of the space defined by the barrel vault and enhancing the singular architecture that the groin vaults forms and whose elements will define each of the spaces.

The reform of the house focus on the construction of a perimeter piece where private spaces will be concentrated. In contrast, the living spaces will occupy a privileged position and will longitudinally connect the house, taking advantage of and enhancing the spatiality of the complex. The new clay tiles forged will be an actual transcription of modulation and prefabrication that takes its bases from the vaults, transforming it into a modern language.

The main façade of the house has a practically south orientation, so it will be in this one where it will be necessary to guide the strategies to achieve better lighting conditions inside the house. Existing gaps are exploited and optimized. For this, translucent glasses are placed that allows the passage of light into the interior but thus avoiding prying eyes. By opening an elongated hole in the entire front it will be possible to penetrate the light to a greater depth.

We can observe through the wind rose that the prevailing winds are practically south-facing (both winter and summer), so it will be important to create practicable gaps in this orientation to achieve cross ventilation and improve comfort conditions.
