The contest submission includes three options - each one exploring the design layout for each of the possible entrances as discussed in the message board. The first option has zero space wastage in hallways and corridors and so has relatively larger spaces. But nevertheless all three options meet all the spatial requirements. All three options have the living room and the master bedroom open towards the west side park. All the main spaces in the house are arranged in a way so as to receive ample natural light. The dark and dim spaces are allotted to storage, wardrobes and laundry/bathroom. Both the bedrooms can accommodate a king sized double bed with night-stands, a large wardrobe and at least one desk. The living room has a large television cabinet and also a large bookshelf. Master bedroom has a large desk with provision for television. Kitchen is spacious enough for 2-3 people to cook/clean at a time and to accommodate all the appliances. The entries to the bathrooms are kept concealed from direct view of living room/bedroom for privacy. All bathrooms have segregated wet and dry areas.
The double doors/window in the balcony can be replaced by sliding doors to save space but the furniture is arranged in such a way that they do not hinder the opening/closing of doors. All the internal doors are 0.8 meters wide.
The attached files include a total of 6 floor plans (3 furniture layout for 3 options, and another 3 files for their dimensions) and 3 .dxf files.
