Lo scopo principale è stato quello di garantire una migliore e più razionale distribuzione degli spazi in quanto, trattandosi di appartamento degli anni 60, è stato realizzato con idee di quel periodo, cioè con enormi sprechi di superficie.
Pertanto si è provveduto a utilizzare al meglio i disimpegni con l'apposizione di armadi a muro utilizzabili o come librerie o come guardaroba; un bagno è stato spostato per ampliare una camera da letto, altrimenti sacrificata. Inoltre il progetto prevede di ingrandire anche gli altri due bagni.
