The proposal is divided into two parts: the first concerns the living area with limited interventions, the second is the sleeping area where are suggested more consistent works, allowing a better use of the space.
For the living room it is suggested the reduction of the entrance area and the dining area inside the kitchen to benefit the surface of the living room. Here it is placed a wall shelving for books along the north wall, a table for 10/12 places, a corner sofa along the eastern wall, and in front, the TV and the projection's screen.
The access to the office has been moved directly from the entrance area to allow the arrival of patients without the passage through the night area. The office room includes a desk, a couch along the south wall and bookshelves along the southwest corner.
The existing sleeping area is poorly distributed, and the bathrooms appear impractical and need reorganizing. The proposal suggests ripositioning the east-side bathroom in the center of the night area in order to "liberate" a window and get an extra bedroom.

La proposta è articolata in due parti: la prima riguarda la zona giorno con interventi limitati, la seconda riguarda la zona notte dove si suggeriscono interventi un po' più impegnativi, che consentano uno sfruttamento migliore degli spazi.
Per la zona giorno si suggerisce di ridurre l'area di ingresso e la zona pranzo della cucina a vantaggio del soggiorno. Qui viene collocata una scaffalatura a muro per i libri lungo la parete a nord, un tavolo allungabile fino 10/12 posti, un angolo per i divani lungo la parete a est e di fronte un mobile TV e lo schermo per video proiezioni.
L'accesso allo studio viene rivolto direttamente sull'ingresso per consentine l'utilizzo ai pazienti senza che attraversino la zona notte. Nello studio si prevede una scrivania, un divano lungo la parete sud e mensole per libri lungo l'angolo sud-ovest.
La zona notte esistente risulta mal sfruttata, e i bagni appaiono poco funzionali. Si propone una loro riorganizzazione. Inoltre lo spostamento di qualche metro, verso il corridoio, del bagno a ovest consentirebbe di “liberare” una finestra ed ottenere una camera in più.
