...una bella sfida duplicare il bagno esistente senza muovere nessuna tramezza! Con qualche piccolo compromesso è stato possibile soddisfare i desideri del cliente: nessuna tramezza è stata mossa, così da lasciare anche invariati i pavimenti esistenti e addirittura la posizione della porta del bagno (si suggerisce di sostituirla con una scorrevole esterna, ma si potrebbe lasciare anche l'attuale). Il compromesso risiede essenzialmente nell'eliminazione, in entrambi i bagni, del bidet, in favore di un wc con bidet integrato: una soluzione salvaspazio pratica, confortevole e igienica allo stesso tempo. Il bagno esistente è stato diviso quasi esattamente a metà da una tramezza: è sagomata per ospitare nella nicchia un lavabo da appoggio e, nella sua parte rettilinea, ha un sopraluce vetrato che permette di illuminare naturalmente un bagno che altrimenti sarebbe cieco. Questo locale è a servizio della zona giorno e, oltre ai sopracitati vaso multifunzione e lavabo da appoggio, ospita una doccia angolare, che permette una migliore fruizione dello spazio. Il secondo bagno è a servizio esclusivo della camera da letto matrimoniale. Visti gli spazi decisamente ridotti, si è optato per una soluzione furba e di forte impatto: collocare la doccia nella camera da letto che, per le sue ampie dimensioni, può agevolmente ospitarla. Ecco quindi che il letto viene addossato ad un muretto sopra il quale è montato un vetro acidato: si crea lo spazio per una doccia passante, addirittura doppia, celata dall'inserto traslucido con un effetto vedo-non vedo. Per armonizzare la doccia alla stanza, le pareti non vengono piastrellate ma rivestite con una carta da parati speciale, ideale per la posa anche a contatto con l'acqua.

... what a nice challenge to duplicate the existing bathroom without moving any partition! With some small compromises it has been possible to satisfy the customer's wishes: no partitions were moved, so as to leave the existing floors and even the position of the bathroom door unchanged (it is suggested to replace it with an external sliding door, but it could also be left the current). The compromise lies essentially in the elimination, in both bathrooms, of the bidet, in favor of a toilet with integrated bidet: a practical, comfortable and hygienic space-saving solution at the same time. The existing bathroom was almost exactly divided in half by a partition: it is shaped to accommodate a countertop washbasin in the niche and, in its rectilinear part, has a glass transom window that naturally illuminates a bathroom that would otherwise be blind. This room serves the living area and, in addition to the aforementioned multi-function vessel and countertop sink, houses a corner shower, which allows better use of space. The second bathroom is at the exclusive service of the double bedroom. Given the decidedly reduced spaces, we opted for a clever and high-impact solution: place the shower in the bedroom which, due to its large size, can easily accommodate it. Here, therefore, is that the bed is placed against a low wall above which an etched glass is mounted: space is created for a passing shower, even double, concealed by the translucent insert with a see-through effect. To harmonize the shower to the room, the walls are not tiled but covered with a special wallpaper, ideal for laying even in contact with water.
