When I began this project, the goal was to create an entry way that would make everyone says "wow" when they walk in the apartment. Stylish and modern but still warm and cozy. The shelving system made from wood and pipes is a great place for displaying books and other decor which will be the first thing people see when they walk in. Running it over the HVAC door allows access to the space when needed and almost makes the door invisible because of the continuous shelves. Replacing the door of the back closet with a pocket door gives us a little more area to run the shelves on that side too. On the wall right across the entry way, I am putting reclaimed wood planks and make it an accent wall in the space. For the floor mirror, I chose a more sizable piece that would definitely fit the entry way better and not look out of proportion. The other mirror you can use in one of the bedroom, but for the entry way I definitely think it is too big. Artificial plants is a great way to add some greenery since you don`t have natural light in there. Placing a lounge chair with ottoman in the space gives you a great area to relax and read a book and the area rug makes it even more inviting and cozy. I think compelling is a great work to describe this project and I really hope you like my design :)
