Descrizione

The project seeks to recreate a contrasting atmosphere between the elegant and the rustic. For this, natural and organic materials are used that highlight the luminosity of the house and give it a modern touch within its country reality. The existing structure and walls are respected, allowing a reduction in remodeling costs, but each interior plan is rebuilt to have a completely new house. The furniture is arranged in a functional but also aesthetically pleasing way, as is the spatial arrangement of the fixed elements in kitchens and bathrooms.

Floor materials dictate the change of environment. The more humid environments such as kitchen and bathrooms are developed in terracotta floors and private and living environments such as dining room, living room and bedrooms are integrated in dark parquet that generates warmth.

The interior walls are clear in their entirety to maintain luminosity. The most contrasting walls are developed in sandstone bricks that have a strong texture but a yellowish-white color. In the rooms, the thickness of the walls is used to pierce them and generate fixed wooden shelves, this frees up space to locate objects and decoration and also provides elegance. The thickness of the windows is also used to use the ashlar as a wooden shelf.

To add depth to the space, wooden stringers are embedded in the ceiling of the most important spaces. This gives a feeling of country space and breaks away from the flat roof for movement and contrast.

Other comments on materials are written in the documents.

Thanks.
