Hi dear customer
We produced four design alternatives based on the client’s requirements, space constraints of the existing building, and construction costs.
In all alternatives, our priority was increasing the quality of living spaces and having picturesque windows to have best view of the sea.
We considered all the following items in our design alternatives:
- Living room: this room is located in the south side of the house with large windows open to the sea.
- Bed rooms: we designed three bedrooms with enough space for having two beds in them. All the rooms have their own closets. The master bedroom has the sea view.
- Kitchen: dimensions of the kitchen are the most ideal for its users. This room has the see view too. The long and flexible kitchen island, adds more cabinet to the kitchen area. Also, it can be used for prep, bar, a table that sits extra people, or a board for having breakfast or quick lunch on.
- Bathrooms: we considered two bathrooms for this project. One of the bathrooms is located close to the entrance making it convenient for guests. The other bathroom is located close to the master bedroom, which is more private.
- Laundry and storage room: we considered enough space for these two.
- Outdoor dining: this space has sea view and has an easy access to the kitchen and storage room.
- Pool: we secured the pools privacy by planting living fences around it. It is located close to the barbeque. There is also enough space for sun bathing and showering beside the pool.
The difference between alternatives is the way we threaten the load-bearing wall. In two alternatives designs we modified the load-bearing walls. In the other two alternatives we kept the walls intact. The former has enabled larger living room. The latter has lowered the construction costs.
