Project Statement
The proposal aims to address all client requirements comprehensively. The key principles behind the design solution include:
Clear definition of both exterior and interior spaces
Careful orientation in relation to cardinal points, natural landscape openings, site slope, and access routes
Compliance with spatial and height restrictions
Flexibility to adapt the design to various construction methods (concrete, steel, or even timber)
Potential for future expansion
Space allowance for additional thermal insulation
Integration of heating and ventilation systems through the floor and ceiling
Implementation of renewable energy systems, including water and power solutions on the roof terrace
Use of a Canadian well system to supply fresh air
Regarding zoning and building regulations, it remains to be clarified whether cantilevered roof overhangs and covered terraces are included in the maximum allowable building area. If not permitted, the design can be easily adjusted by adding detached shading elements adjacent to the building.
In conclusion, this is a distinctive and flexible architectural project that should be further developed in collaboration with the client, with close attention to technical and regulatory details.
Thank you!
