The project boasts a modern and stylish aesthetic while maintaining its original warm interiors. The building has been transformed into a multifunctional living space that seamlessly blends functionality and elegance. The main living spaces in the apartments as the primary space have generally been centrally positioned for maximum lighting through the consistent full façade windows introduced on the west and east elevations. This design intervention is reflected on the exterior with the use of a darker material finish giving emphasis and a sense of balance on the elevations.
A combination of an apartment and studio apartment on the ground floor and first floor has been designed with a focus on natural lighting, functionality and elegance. The studio apartment is positioned with the main living space facing the west elevation of the building and the apartment respectively on the East elevation. Therefore, the centrally positioned living spaces in each apartment allows through natural light from the east placed and west placed full façade windows. The bedroom on the apartment and kitchen space on the studio apartment is lit from the alternative north facing windows and South facing windows respectively.
The two mini apartments have been thoughtfully designed to maximize space and natural light, following the conceptual configuration consistent in the apartments and studio apartments design. Moreover, a modern dormer on the roof is introduced on the attic floor to achieve the full façade window on the main living space. This new feature allows for an abundance of natural light to flood the living space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The balcony on the first floor had been extended to the North facade to define the east access to the building. The access to the backyard of the building has been defined by an introduction of a well designed canopy. A parapet wall introduced on the garage to conceal the roof of the garage giving the exterior of the project an elegant and modern aesthetic.
