My main goal is to the backyard living room, heres why;
By extending the living space to the backyard area, I believe that we have created a better atmosphere with vegs, skylights, vegetation wells etc.. Otherwise, when the living, dining, and kitchen areas are placed in the front facade, they become very cramped as they do not provide sufficient space, not even atmosphere.
Stairs took a bit of my time because of the ceiling line of the bow window in the location where the stairs were placed could intersect with the head-clearence line of the new stairs. Therefore, the result was a staircase that is slightly longer than what you had drawn on paper.
I re-planned the washing machine and storage space under the stairs, by that, creating a void just above the entrance on the upper floor. This way, when entering the house, one will be greeted by a stunning high-ceiling atmosphere.
