Starting with the design, several key points of the project were analyzed, such as: the floor height is 2.55 m (Italian building laws and the current state of the building do not allow any changes) and therefore no interventions with decorative wooden beams in the ceiling, can be used, and a simple and minimalist style is followed.
the height level of the first floor is 3 meters + distance from the roof, the beams of the roof will be visible and this allowed a rustica style without additional costs. The height of this floor allows us more space maneuvers, such as creating a mezzanine where the bedroom is located with a double bed, and the space under the mezzanine is used for niches, such as: Bathroom (bathtub, sink, bidet, toilet), storage/utility room. (Rooms that are not hindered by the slightly lower height of the floor).
The common feature of these two floors, which are divided into apartments special by each other and with separate entrances for each floor, is the same appearance and organization of the kitchen, dining room and living room, whichs will have the fireplace two sided and with one chimeny, sofas that are made in beds for two people (from IKEA) and a table for four people, the second floor from the living room has access to the balcony.
The bathroom on the ground floor contains a shower, sink, bidet, toilet, and space for washing.
