Dear client, thank you for the opportunity to design your future home.
The house has a total area of 203,81 m² + 12,87 m² stairs void.
The entrance to the driveway and pathway are separated so that all parts of the site is livable, and making sure that there wouldn't be any forgotten corner of the site. The driveway leads directly into the entrance, while the pathway takes a more scenic route, circling the existing tree and observing the shape of the house.
As requested, a secondary entrance is placed at the east part of the building, leading to a vestibule that access the laundry and mudroom where you can clean yourself after tending the garden and also to the kitchen.
The house is divided into east side and west side by a two-floor-height hallway containing the stairs that would give a grandiose and relieved feeling right after entering the house, giving the sign that you are 'home', especially after a long and tiring day.
The bedrooms on the ground floor is placed at the west side of the house, while right after the entrance you can find the closet for your family next to a utility closet. A short hall will lead you to the guest bathroom and also the office, overlooking the garden in the north providing a quiet working space. Sound insulation could be added as necessary in the wall dividing the living area and the office.
At the end of the hall is the living area, with a view to the backyard and the pool from the dining room through a large glass door that could be fully opened. When fully opened, the indoor and outdoor dining area could be adjoined into a large dining space that would easily host a large party.
Concrete finish applied to the exterior wall for low maintenance, and then the color palette follow along that line. Stone siding in some places giving an eternal look.
The windows and doors are moderately sized and strategically placed, giving a modern look but also keep the cost down, providing ample lights to the interior and seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor space.
The interior is designed in a simple and elegant color with white being the primary color of the house giving a light and spacious feeling to the house. The somber color palette would give a calm and settled feeling to the house.
Since you would like to host guests, the outdoor area was designed to be a festive space featuring an outdoor kitchen with BBQ grill, outdoor seating with fireplace next to the vegetable garden and the swimming pool.
A small vegetable garden along with a greenhouse and a tool shed is placed in the south eastern corner of the site, ensuring the vegetable plants would receive abundant sunlight.
The 1st floor is where the master bedroom and the bedrooms for the kids are placed, master bedroom with a walk in closet at the west side, and the kids bedrooms at the east side.
