The Portaccio House project has been an amazing project with the challenge of designing a 480 cubic meter villa while incorporating the existing well and water tank as monuments in the open courtyard.
The design has been developed by considering the main courtyard with an adjacent pool and exterior living space facing the West Direction to facilitate enjoyable dinner moments with friends and loved ones at sunset. The design has been carried out as a single-story villa as well as a two-story structure with an optional design to be selected as the most suitable design for the client. The central courtyard has been enclosed with walls to protect the privacy from the surroundings yet opened from the West Direction to allow the complete view of the sunset. In addition, pergola canopy and bamboo shadings have been used to enhance the aesthetic and shading purposes while allowing the blending of natural Mediterranean Architecture.
