The changes in the layout of the apartment are carried out so that the overall feeling is one of openness and abundant light. The wall separating the kitchen is knocked down thus creating a single living/dining/kitchen space with two big openings leading to balconies, while maintaining a zoning by differentiating the floor material of the kitchen and placing a bar table with stools. The dark paint of the kitchen material is uninterruptedly flowing into the living area - transforming into TV zone and then the hidden wardrobe at the entrance.
The wallpaper ceiling above the dining area acts as another zoning element and creates contrast.
The glass brick walls are placed strategically to let some natural light and insulation into the laundry and the walk-in closet.
