First of all I would like to express my satisfaction for the opportunity to work on this project.
The concept is based on the approach to satisfy two most important things.
The first thing is the client's needs written in the briefing and in the answers to the questions posted by the designers. The second thing that I was guided during the project is that the potentially this apartment represents a pleasant ambient, both for tenants and for guests, and to gain a strong impressions while staying in.
The interventions show apartment planed with main quality which is recognized as ''day zone'' improved by the fact that the living room, kitchen and dining room are composed up to form as unique large open space. In the night zone of the apartment, two existing rooms were reconstructed, one more bathroom and a independent small laundry room are added as a new spaces. All wet rooms are grouped as one block around an existing bathroom.
Several facts:
- Entrance is planed as a defined area, space that is not strictly separated from living and dinning room.
- In dinning room are placed client's table for 8 persons, and big bookshelf that covers whole wall.
- Kitchen is planed as a open plan kitchen, with cooking island, completely conected with whole day zone.
- Black cubic coctail cabinet is located near the kitchen and sitting furniture.
- Bathroom in master room has a bathtub, and the guests bathroom (located next to existing bathroom) has shower cabine. Both are equipped with bidets.
- Room for guests is planed as studio with work desk and sitting furniture in one hand, and in other hand as room for 2 guests who can sleep while staying in the apartment.
- Space for laundry is planed as a small new room next to the bathrooms.
Lighting is chosen so that enough light is provided for all spaces and needs. As a designer, in addition to the necessary lighting in the lumens (lm), I also recommended the types of luminaries that I think it would fit perfectly into the ambient
